2019 NXN awards ceremony. Newbury Park wins and he jumps to take the trophy before the kids and holds it up. The custom and neat uniform practice is for the KIDS to get the trophy then, hold it up, then share it with the kids. Not Sean. It’s all about him.
This is a recruiting video for high school kids. It's done well, shows the area, what the city is like, proximity to the track and trails. All of the douche down votes are unnecessary. It's a video for kids to say he's committed to a program and tries to show little personal touches. It also highlights some of the athletes in the training environment.
The thing about UCLA is they SHOULD be good. Anything less than top 5 in the region every year, with the amount of California kids who want to be there above all else would be a failure. This is merely a hype video to return to what they've already achieved. The real measure of soaring to new heights is if they can get consistently in the top 10 at Nationals. When you're recruiting out there just about every distance runner lists Cal and UCLA as their top choices.
If UCLA gets good, it's because they are UCLA and not because of Brosnan. Any dimwit can recruit to UCLA, except Brosnan apparently because his recruiting class is weak.
He injured his top men's distance runner this year.
Yep. That's what I was getting at. The school is very desirable to California kids and beyond.
His hair is straight from 2004, gotta get that fixed. Dude says something about he wants to be the best ever in UCLA and D1 history. To me that’s a blatant disrespect for the teams that have been assembled throughout history. Does he realize how good UCLA was in the 70s?! After the coffee scene I couldn’t watch anymore. I turned it off after 4.5 minutes.

Brosnan has managed to get some scholarships for distance. It's true everybody wants to go, but not if they weren't getting money or an academic bump.
The previous dimwits were unable to consistently recruit kids who would be admitted on their own and willing to pay full price.z
One of the tougher jobs Brosnan faces is there just are not that many good places to run around UCLA. I suppose Southern Californians have adopted to that.
The other being a very complicated coffee brewing routine.
It was amazing how he took 2 of the most talented families who didn't live in the school district in a huge school in the southern section and then broke cif rules to recruit more and basically was slightly better than Crater HS with population 800 and small footprint. Oh and he supported the high school so well in track by securing individual and state titles instead of having em run 5ks against pros. And he didn't use soles training. Congrats. On a job. Well. Done.
Breaking news! at 8:15 or so in the video there was a major news story. Not only did OJ kill Nicole Brown-SImpson, he also murdered Jessica Simpson! I hope this trial holds him accountable.
I thought maybe that was just a mistake, but you’re right. It must have been a different murder because he said the chase took place during the Nicks, Bulls game. The Nicole Simpson murder car chase was during the Nicks, Rockets game. I’m not sure how I missed this historic event! OJ is a legend!
The Young’s and Sahlman’s live within 10 miles of Newbury Park. Its not like they lived in a different county. And when did he break CIF rules for recruiting? I was under the impression NP had open enrollment

Bro, just because it’s open enrollment doesn’t mean it isn’t against CIF rules to actively recruit kids from other schools and districts which he did consistently during his tenure at NP. Recruiting rules weren’t the only ones he broke. He said in one of the articles about NP that he was reported to CIF at least 15 times. When someone is reported, usually there is grounds for the reporting, but CIF has a hard time enforcing because it’s typically he said, she said and he would just lie his way out.

By far, it’s the two most talented families for distance running in U.S. history.
It would be pretty universal sorry if Laura Muir had a really tough day. I know she's running behind Faith (also well loved right now) so Laura loses to her all the time, but if something worse like she had a bad injury or a terrible race I think 99% of the folks here would be sad for her.
Laura Muir (yes she loses all the time to Faith, but if something like a terrible injury or a fall during a major race happened, we'd all be bummed about it)
Forget it. The board is drunk ..sorry for a million posts in the wrong thread but even though I double checked the thread I was posting under it still happened. Sorry
