Yeah, that occurred to me and I would like to emphasize what I said - "to each his own." And I thought I was being particularly non-confrontational because I didn't even allude to the environmental concerns....
Healthy foods, a gift from nature's hand, Blueberries, arugula, sardines so grand, Eggs, avocados, broccoli so green, Sweet potatoes, a root so sweet and lean.
XY, a carnivore by choice, But plant-based meals can also give voice, To a diet that's balanced and whole, And nourishes the body, mind, and soul.

This. No reason to limit to just three foods. Wild caught salmon, nuts and lentils, vegetables, avocado, fruit, especially dark berries all good. Eggs and feta cheese too. Plus, don’t forget green tea, dark chocolate, and a little red wine.
Intermittent fasting, maybe 12-14 hours, not the crazy 16 hour fast, is also very good for the body, along with a steady commitment to exercise.
1) Beef- nothing else comes close for bioavailable nutrient density and overall flavor. The only supermarket food you can easily thrive on for years of nothing else (maybe eggs too).
2) Liver- even higher nutrient density but lacking in fat and flavor
3) eggs- everything in a convenient tasty package
Beef is cautioned to eat in moderation due to high fat and cholesterol. And some have serious concern for hormones in beef.
A quick google search pulls up this from the American Diabetes Association Journal:
American Diabetes Assoc. Journal wrote:
Considerable evidence from long-term prospective cohort studies has demonstrated that diets high in red and processed meats are associated with increased risk of type 2 diabetes (T2D), cardiovascular disease (CVD), cancer (particularly colorectal cancer), and all-cause mortality
I choose to eat red meat infrequently if at all, but to each his own.
Boiler-plate disinformation from one of the many criminally-corrupt agencies and academic sources completely beholden to Big Food and pHarma industries, and fueling the obesity/health crisis of the last 50 years (i.e. the "food pyramid" weaponization of carb/oil-heavy diets which spiked all metabolic illness in the western and now total world, see "Big Fat Surprise" by Nina Teicholtz).
All studies in this sphere are associational, the lowest standard of inquiry and completely subject to cherry-picking and manipulation by the prejudiced investigators. The last decades of this nonsense was a prelude to the authoritarian lockdown/mask/inject protocol to treating a moderately risky worldwide virus in 2020.
If you are not eating at least a pound of red meat daily, you are behind the curve set by the longest-lived world population, Hong Kong, who average 88 years in longevity. And that does not even weigh the performance aspect, to which I am personally a testimonial.
Here is world class rock climber and nutritionist Dave McLeod on the topic:
What is it about processed food that is unhealthy? Is it the red meat? To shed some light on this question, I went to the epitome of junk food, McDonalds and...

Row crops and monoculture of plant foods are the greatest envionmental threats to our sustained food supply as well as general bodily and ecosystem health and are the most ethically damaging in terms of animal bykill. Eat more imported and industrial vegetables and grains if you truly hate the Earth. OTOH If you are truly concerned about such issues, sustainably-grazed grassfed beef and raw dairy is by far superior.

Didn’t watch the entire thing as way too long but forward winded through and caught the gist. He’s right and has valid points. The standard American (and Western) diet is completely disgusting and devoid of meaningful nutrition as well as harmful for the gut microbiome. Perhaps if people heeded these concerns, epidemics like Covid wouldn’t be such a big deal.
Seems pretty simple - if you are overweight and inflamed and eating poorly, you are asking for a bad outcome. His primary points about this being an unstable dynamic for the Western medical model and also the way a vegan diet can also be bad for the environment are exactly right but so ignored by mass media and most people.
I never said limit your diets to 3 foods. When we ask about a staple or best workout, no one suggests it should be the only one run.
Ok I take your point. Think I was responding to someone else, but if I had to pick the three healthiest, then wild caught salmon, broccoli or kale, wild blueberries or chokeberries (aronia berries). Aronia berries have extremely high ORAC values and are very anti-inflammatory
