Darkwave (from last week) - Good to know about the drills, has your ability to do those mirrored the running issues over the last few years? Interesting about the muscle tension, I'm adding back in some jump rope as my plyometrics but will watch calf tightness.
Thoughtsleader (from last week) - Reasonable to play it safe for Boston, sticking with the 3hr pace group and pushing at the end if you can.
highhoppingworm - It will be interesting to see how the switch in training goes

Jcanon - sounds like a rough week, way to stick with it the last mile of the HM
Sub 6 - Solid week and two tempo workouts, Your 10 mile goal looks doable
AverageForFun - Impressive week! Did you check your bib # for Boston? I am 12XX, if you are in the same corral (mine is probably Wave 1 Corral 2)

pewow - What kind of bike did you get? I spent some time looking at then this fall, if and when the time comes to upgrade Im still not sure what I will do, probably a mid level gravel (or nicer used) with second set of road tires (even just entry level/mid level/stupid expensive and road/gravel/tt will do)

jakoss - Brutal 1800 ft run with only a 40 foot hill, how hilly is your 50 miler? do you have a race plan/nutrition plan?
re: AverageForFun - I will recommit to staying off the track for a while. I tried to lay out all the possible causes and too many track workouts is up there in the top 3 (road camber and the cycling are the other two)
re: notarobot - I am certainly trying to get those beginner gains, I started doing strength work the night of the race and will continue to do something everyday till ~5 days prior. I've been really sore this week.
Thoughtsleader - I've been working out in some combo of Adidas Adios 4, Adidas Sen Takumi 8s and Nike Alpha Flys. Racing in the Takumi 8s. Training in NB 880s, Mizuno Wave Riders and Nike Zoom Pegs. So a pretty wide range. I've been using the two adidas mostly for races and workouts and don't believe it is the issue. Certainly worth consideration. My running on stilts comment is the best I can come up with as a descriptor, I'm not sure how to better explain.
