Someone is listed as running for Let's Run ...
Munir Kabbara, 3:44 guy from UCLA. Did the brojos mention him on this weeks pod?
8th grader Aria Pearce in the 100, 200, and long jump. She did pretty well last year at this meet as a 7th grader.
fwiw
Are these murmurs of sub 27 10,000??? Sooo close.
We're in the new era of collegiate 10,000m running. These athletes are better trained through high school and college. Go for it.
I wonder how the guys would play an Olemomoi 15:12 over/under? Fri eve weather should be perfect for fast distance running.
They are clueless.
Can't say I completely disagree....

No Olemomoi or Chelangat

A lot still in the 5000 as well as the 10000. There is no conceivable way that they can do both. Were the coaches waiting to see what heats their athletes are in and then make the decision? On the schedule there are some 5000 heats that are in the morning. The 10000 heats are late. That is conceivable for a runner to do both but I still don't see it.
60F and dropping to low 50s for the fast distance races
is the live results website working for anyone else? I can only see a few results for the 5k. Does anyone know how heat 1 went down?
Ditto
The night heats aren't showing up yet on live results. Heat 1 is invite heat, will be tonight. Watch out for Kayley Delay, grad student at uw, she's completed a 10 mth base training under the Powells and was 2nd last yr in steeple.
Stanford has never produced a sub10.00 sprinter, is that Nigerian kid going to be their first?

The 3 fastest heats of the 5000s start going off 7;12 pm local time per the schedule, right after the fastest 1500 heats
Will anyone run a faster 800 tomorrow than the D2 guy did at TX yesterday?
Willis DNS 400
