C. Thompson split 9:45 for 2 miles.
Something like 5:05, 4:40. Still way out front.

5km mark for women:
Hellen Obiri 15:50 in 1st place (Kenya)
Annie Frisbie 16:54 in 7th (best U.S placed woman so far)
Lead women through 5 miles in 25 high
Looked like 25:44 at 5 miles for Teferi/Obiri
Looked like ~25:50 for Obiri at mile 5
Its a shame they arent focusing on the mens pack.

Well, that the pact is not leading the race.
Looks like Thompson is going for Masters 10K en route World Record!
Obiri pushing now
Can't wait to see Helen's 6th mile split!
Thompson split 15:00 at 5K for the lead.
Kiplimo +0:56 in 2nd place.

I doubt he will hold it.
Hopefully Kiplimo and Cheptegui pull Rupp tp a New Personal Best, Same with Obiri and Teferi hopefully they can pull Huddle to a Sub 67 or even the American Record
Why are the elite men running so slowly through 5k? Warmup 5k then start ramping it up?
Galen Rupp in 8th place at 5km in 15:15. About a minute off the leaders
Wheels will come off for Thompson before 10 miles.

Looked like the gap is closing from the overhead shot
