Didn't read in these forums that Nuguse was in shape 3:29 the week he run 7:28 in the 3000m? And more recently we were talking here about WR...
For people having the "sense of decency", there are very few here ... a long thread of doping accusation made two years ago marked the reputation of your friends in this site.
Have to admit I'm pretty devastated to see such a slow time. 3:33 will hardly qualify for NCAAs this outdoor season. It is practically race walking.
Unfortunately Yared just hasn't shown much at all over this indoor season. He's a has-been already. This is all so upsetting to me, a lifelong dedicated fan.
Yared Nuguse ran from the front throughout and used a strong kick to fend off Mohamed Katir in winning the 1500m in 3:33.69Website: http://flosports.link/3p2...
Nuguse is clearly in superior form. But he needs to work on better awareness and tactics if he wants to continue winning high level races and eventually take out Jakob.
To me Nuguse got lucky he had an open spot to shoot by Katir at the end. In the bigger races, there will be bodies there. Can’t just let open space be open like that. He was also lucky his fitness saved his butt after he went with Sowinski in a blazing hot opening 400.
Overall I think this is a great step forward for Nuguse. But the World final will not be a time trial at the armory where your teammates are helping you along. Jakob will be out for blood and will show no mercy!
