And she will look A LOT better doing it, too. She ran 3:07 at Boston last year in her second marathon. She's run 1:27 for HM since. Absolute fitness nut.
Not sure why they wouldn't pull bikes? Does this Marathon not have a course crew? They don't have people working the course at all? I would assume the RD would be watching the race at some point and see this happening? I worked events as an RD for many years and have kicked my share of people and bikes off the course, as has my crew.
If you fail at breaking 3, at least bring your crew to document it and make sure to disrupt others. Great job. Glad these influencers show people how its done.
A DQ won't do anything, he'll keep talking about his race without mentioning the DQ, The runners his team impeded will still have been impeded.
Marathon's's need to stop this crap on the course while it's happening, get to those bikers and physically pull them off the course if they have to.
They might not want to do that, an influencer running their marathon might lead to more people running it next year. If people that actually ran the race complained to the RD and told him they would stop running this race if this is going to be allowed to continue, that would make a difference.

My only concern with getting physical with someone on a bike is being sued by said cyclist in case of injury. Even if the RD has all the necessary road permits, right or wrong, who knows what a judge can rule. Perhaps inform the police that any vehicles of any kind (outside the official ones) should be physically removed from the course.
If you've ever had the misfortune of actually watching one of Choi's videos it's apparent he's a dummy to say the least. His "advice" videos essentially boil down to him repeating buzzwords without understanding any of them.
In my view, the thought that the e-bike situation (and by extension, the Houston bib situation) would reflect negatively upon him probably did not even cross his mind, since I doubt Choi thinks beyond one step ahead.

It would be Madness if he didn't think One Step Beyond.
He called the Austin marathon e-bike attention fake news in his Instagram stories. That's unique, as his own Instagram videos show the bike riding around him, so it's most certainly not fake.
The degree of interference is up for debate, surely, but not whether it occurred. He documented it himself.

You don't get physical. You get on the course and yell at them and direct them off the course. If that doesn't do anything then you DQ the runner and ban them from future events.

When the actions of disruption is on going, race officials should physically remove them from the course to restore order. A rule is useless if not enforced.
