The Hunt family can add another big win to its resume. Gracie Hunt — the 22-year-old daughter of Kansas City Chiefs chairman and CEO, Clark Hunt — was crowned Miss Kansas USA at the state’s a…
Nice racecourse. A lot of good fishing spots along that stretch of the Roaring Fork with very little pressure. Aspen is one of my favorite places to run. Lots of good trail races and they have a nice little Triathlon that starts at the Rec Center and takes you up by the Bells. They are lower key races, but there always seems to be a couple of serious studs in the events, especially the biking events.
Article says she had to quit soccer after 4 concussions. Gotta give her some respect for that. Looks like she was a legit soccer player.
It is hard to look at the photos of her. She has clearly had all sorts of plastic surgery done and probably was more attractive before she had all the work done.

I have a friend who played soccer and lacrosse who ran a low 1:20s at the end of his senior year. 7:00 pace is jogging - anyone can do it
Yea... isn't a 3:45 like really close to 9 min pace (maybe like 8:45, im not gonna look). She already works out. Talented people exist... I mean it's not world class but she definitely probably ran a legit 3:45 lol.
I don't buy the hype that there is a greater proportion of beautiful women in California than in other states. I think Utah and Minnesota would be in contention. Colorado has plenty of beautiful women, but the demographics (especially in the mountains) are heavily male. Kansas has plenty of good-looking women.
She's the type of female who you initially think is fairly attractive but the more you look, the worse she looks.
That said, Running 3:45 with no training IS pretty solid. I think she goes 3:20 at boston
I'd be curious to check out her training log. If she's a 1:33 half runner, that should put her at 3:15 (1:33 x 2 and add 9-10 mins). She also must do well enough in terms of fueling. We'll see if she can avoid bonking at 22. I'd also be curious to see her splits, to see if she runs evenly; like did she run 1:50/1:55 (3:45) or go out fast in 1:40 and die to a 2:05 on the backend?
I would take her seriously as a runner; she has some innate talent if she was able to also play soccer well too.

I think she's a legit runner (she's a lot faster than I am right now; very sobering and it's a reminder to work harder) but some don't. I respect her for what she's achieved in her life; she's worked hard to run well.
The study concluded that a “good” marathon time for an elite female between ages 20 and 30 was … three hours and 19 minutes. Gracie Hunt, 23, rolled out of bed and is apparently an episode of The Office (with ads) away from being an elite female marathon runner. Call me a skeptic, but I can’t believe that. Again, big Gracie Hunt fan. Frankly, she’s coming close to unseating Pageviews Paige Spiranic as the gold standard of OutKick stars. But I have to be objective around here, and I’m officially calling BS. Anyway, apparently she’s competing in the Boston Marathon later this spring, so I reckon we’ll have a true answer in a few months.
Her body is smoking hot. Her face isn’t as attractive, but not bad. She looks a lot like her mom, who won the same Miss Kansas crown.
I hate the Chiefs. Her dad is the consummate Spaulding Smails NFL owner—total dips—t lucky sperm club member. Rooting for Philly on Sunday, but have to admit I kinda like her

I gotcha; I'm very curious about her training. Looks are subjective. I'd love to know how she does workouts; is she a Hansons-like runner or does she do just base and run fast off nothing but base? Daniels is a bit complex but Hansons and Lydiard are easier to follow for novice runners.
She obviously is fit and probably has done yoga and other strength training to handle the high mileage (50 mpw and up) required to run 1:33 for the half. Also, how HARD was her 1:33? If she jogged it in Dallas she is probably capable of 1:26-1:28 at true 1/2 marathon effort.
Regarding the 3:45, it is probably a soft PR and she'd probably run 3:32 or 3:35 at sea level. She ran the 3:45 at 8,000 feet! Ali on the Run (a similar looking influencer but not as famous) has a 3:4x PR but she puts in 50-60 mpw, and that PR is several years old. So even she is sub-3:35 as well.
If she was in Columbus, she'd probably run with the 8:00 or 7:30 group at Fleet Feet's Marathoner In Training elite level run club--the 400-member run club has pace groups from 7:30 down to 13:00 as well as elite training units.

Splits not available for Aspen race in July but it is a point-to-point course on what looks like a single road. Only way to cut that would be to get off course and get on a bike or into a car. Unlikely.
Boulder marathon in October has splits. Course has several out and back turnarounds. Based on the comment made today, it looks like "Heywood" must post here!

This is interesting data, sorta like my 3:20 bonk. 1:33/1:46 for me; she went 1:36/2:09 (!). In fairness, she was higher up and had hills. So with better pacing, she probably could have gone 1:49/1:41 and finished 3:30 (even on the harder course). And at a sea level course, she would be sub-3:30, which dovetails with her 1:33-1:36 half time.
Her 20-mile split of 2:36 is solid too; that puts her at 3:18-3:20-ish without any sort of bonk (42-44-ish 10k normally). I think she's a very good runner with solid times and NO XC/Track background from HS to college.
Thank you for posting this.
