I think people speak English in a slightly higher pitch if it's not their native language. I notice that with Japanese athletes anyway, and I think Koko too.

Maybe, although Koko has a fairly normal voice (certainly in German), compared to Hull's Disney voice.
And I think English is spoken at rather high pitch by many natives, compared to other languages, incl. Dutch and German. I often puzzled at the high pitched voices of some male English speakers.

I’ll agree with the other poster that said Hodgkinson would be a bit out of her element over 500. She would definitely make a go of it but the other three have the advantage.
The best race with Hodgkinson would be vs Mu at 600. IMHO, those two have the advantage over Syd & Bol at that distance.
I’ll go against Chef Ramzi here. He is so infatuated & obsessed with Bol that he’s not objective. Bol would not break the 600 record that Keely just set and quite honestly, Hodgkinson & Mu could lower it even more if they faced off.
After she finished, a 12 year old girl asked for her autograph and she ended up giving her bib to the girl.
Considering it was a world record run, I thought it was a great gesture and wanted to share.
I love hearing stories like this.
I’m encouraged that some of the young superstars aren’t prima donnas, pretentious, and full of themselves. They’re respectful of the fans and fellow competitors. They’re not all like Sha’Carri.
Bol, Mu, Hodgkinson, Abby Steiner, Luis Grijalva, and Yared Nuguse. All are humble and respectful. I hope that they stay that way.
Are those kilograms or pounds? Usually Eleiko plates are Kg. If so, that is 210 pounds!
Also, great way to break your tibia and end your season. She needs to be careful how she drops that weight.
If it were kilos that would actually convert to 253lbs because the bar weighs 45lbs in addition to the plates. Plus she's doing hang cleans which is a much more difficult lift than power cleans. To be honest I don't think she can lift that much weight and it's 115lbs she's working with.
You're correct she could've really messed herself up with that drop. Usually you would take the weight from a trestle to do hang cleans so you just set it back down and not bend for it. I seriously doubt she was picking up 253lbs from the floor.
