This reminds me of when people were trying to predict what Lance Armstrong would run in his first marathon. Some predicted sub-2:20. Some even predicted as low as 2:03. When he finally ran, he barely snuck under 3:00.
Lance has shown tremendous endurance once again, I can't help but believe he could run a marathon for that ages. I think 203, what do you think? Go get em Lance
Deion Sanders was nearly unstoppable in Baseball, Football, the 40 yard dash and even now as a coach. So who was naturally faster, Prime Time or Usain Bolt?!
Obviously, Bolt focused on track and Sanders didn't, but if he had, would he have been the GOAT? I think so.
For you youngsters and those who don't remember...
No Deion doesn't beat Bolt. Bolt doesn't compare to Deion on the football field or baseball diamond. Both great athletes in their own sports. Deion was a fast sprinter though.
You’re out of your mind for even suggesting it. And you’re batsh!t crazy if you believe it. Sanders was fast but not even the fastest man to have ever played football or baseball.
Also, and you may or may not know this, the 40 times that are quoted are not accurate at all. Some are even hand-timed but none are FAT.
I think Deion Sanders may be the greatest athlete in the history of professional football. He was not the greatest player, but maybe the greatest all-around athlete. Had he focused on track and field, and adjusted his stride which was sub optimal, he would’ve been a top-flight professional runner.

"Oh my Toe hurts, I have to go count my money " is what he told the press when they asked him when he was going to play. How can you consider this as the greatest?

Because in his prime, he simply shut down every receiver he covered. Quarterbacks did not throw to his side of the field. No cornerback had ever done that before. He had a strategic effect on the offenses he played against.
furthermore, he was the most dangerous punt returner I have ever seen. It got to the point where no punter would dare punt the ball to him.
