Molly is smart and educated. When she is saying "getting clean" multiple times in that episode of course that makes people wonder. She also mentions lying about mental stuff in previous podcasts
Funny how LRC fangurls quickly forget about all the lies Molly has told in the past. Makes you wonder if Molly is just lying in the podcast now, too.

Molly's screw the rules attitude is what I don't like about her. Nor do I appreciate her constant bragging and self promotion of her personal problems.
I'm starting to think Histrionic Personality Disorder with her.
I was thinking the same thing the other day. It just seems with Molly that normal everyday life events are not enough for her so she needs to embellish them.
Molly had a day when most others couldn’t handle the heat. one 5k split under 17 and she earned a bronze
On a course where weather isn’t the primary factor would she ever have reason to be a contender again? Seriously, where does she sit with the top US women marathoners? 6-10th currently at best??
Listend to the Hurdle Podcast and pretty irritated by how Molly talks about "wants to see what she can do when she is clean". I know she is referring to her ED but why using "clean" of all phrases. The entire episode makes me wonder whats really going on.
She probably means off meds. I dont know that, but knowing what she has and how she phrased it...
Leave it to LRC pedants to overanalyze a perfectly harmless, innocuous statement.
Are you serious?
I am a doctor who has treated many patients with eating disorders. I also have a family member who had serious ED and am closely familiar with the patient 'community.'
NOBODY refers to healthy management of ED as being "clean."
This is plainly an idiosyncratic usage, if not an outright bizarre choice in the context of a sport where the word actually does have another well understood meaning.
Anyone saying this is 'nothing' needs to give their head a shake.
2:12 for a male? At what point do you consider someone beyond their genetic potential? I think the invention of gps watches has drastically changed how hard we can train and social media allows us to see what others are doing and raise the bar for ourselves. There will always be genetic freaks, so I don’t believe all elites are on something.

Amazing, I'm a doctor too. And a lawyer. Coding guru on some threads too. Any crypto questions - fire away.

“Clean” eating definitely seems like a reasonable possibility. Could also refer to running while not taking ADHD meds, which I believe she said she stopped taking not too long ago.

did the interviewer really not clarify?
I really think this is what she meant. Amazing how almost nobody guessed the obvious. Or at least most likely scenario.
