Well thats the short truth. I mean the Big10 ADDED Rutgers...recently!! And the only reason we didnt scoff at Maryland is they were coming off Nat Championship in hoops at the time. They were up front about it being about market.
How do schools like Vanderbilt or Northwestern get to stay in these power conferences where they clearly do NOT belong?
I see the SEC ad Big 10 adding schools from all over, shouldnt they also look at dropping some of the hangers on? After all, this is just about money and those schools bring in a big fat ZERO.
Sets a bad precedent and makes it harder to add schools. Who will want to join the SEC if they think they might get kicked out for having some bad football seasons.

"Some bad football seasons" is the biggest understatement regarding Vanderbilt than I think I have ever read.
