it would appear he needs to go back to whatever he was doing last year. staying uber fit for 8 straight months. whatever he is doing this year is obviously not working for him. not sure if they're trying to be too cute, or what.
if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

What % on the LRC poll didn’t have Hocker making the team? Not even making the final? Nobody.

Damn.
Princeton guy isn't a dummy and Hocker is going to get eliminated.
Sam Ellis, takes no prisoners. Alters the course of US distance running history with his 11th place finish in the last heat.

This deserves a “black” page. Are you going to have an emergency reaction podcast to decompress. There needs to be public mourning….
yikes
must be something good in the water since 4/12 finalists currently or formerly trained in Eugene
Oregon failing, par for the course
But he's qualified for the 5000m. If he declared, he'd be a force.

Remember the advice Archie Manning gave to both Peyton and Eli before their first N.F.L. games: Talk to the press after every game, win or lose. It is as important to talk to the press after a 3 interception game as it after a 3 touchdown game.
Early leaders Hocker, Blankenship, Ellis.
Where did they finish?
Too many time trialing and not enough racing!!
This is perfect for him - now he can do more perfectly manicured time trials without having to leave Oregon and won’t have to race.
He says "pass" ???
how about, "I'm sorry, I can't." "I'm sorry, not tonight." "Sorry."
Get some manners, kid. We don't have to root for you or buy your company's gear.

Yes, when you are a pro, you face the press and answer questions win, lose or draw. Standing up and taking the heat is the definition of professionalism. Far more important than having a bad race at a bad time….
