Haven’t heard of Nathan Atchue before but based on his Milesplit, his 2 mile PR was a 9:33 and his 3200 PR was a 9:19. Now he runs a sub-9 2-mile.

He ran 9:04 3200 at Arcadia.

They hit the mile in 4:30. I thought they'd take it out a bit faster.

Actually, Benjamin Balazs won the 2000m SC in 5:47.14. Kipyego won the 2000m SC at NB, which is at another thread.
Some nice 4 X 800s to end the evening at Nike Nationals. Niwot (CO) runs 8:51.75 to edge J. Serra (CA) at 8:52.68. 9Hinsdale Central (IL) runs 7:32.14 to edge Ridge (NJ) at 7:32.79. Mounds View (MN) in 3rd at 736.72.

Mounds View got the MN state record in the 4x800, and they had the exact same lineup in this race. So overall not surprising.

Bergen took it at 1:49.12. Birnbaum came from the back to get 2nd. Burns was never in it. I agree with the announcers that Birnbaum's anchor on the SMR took something out of him. But he is a stud. We should see great things from him next year.
Engelhardt 4:38.40 by herself. I think she's running too many races in succession.
