Didn't realize he had the bye, thanks for letting me know. Looking forward to him getting under 44 this year. Could be a fire 4x4 with him, Norman, Allison, and Ross if they all time their training right.
Meshesha held her position really well and looked so strong
She looked so smooth moving to the lead at the bell, and again moving with 200m and 100m to go. I wouldn't rule out a silver at Worlds -- can't see her beating Kipyegon, though
Completely agreed. For now at least she has separated herself from the pack, but I don't think anyone can get close to Kipyegon
Times seem a bit slow overall in Rome. Was hoping pacer would stick to 2:07 at 800 for a sub 4 finish in the Women’s 1500. Dominating win by Bednarek. Love those rainbow socks Bruni is wearing in the Women’s PV.
See if Mu can shake things up with the slow times tonight and win the 800 in sub 1:57. That would be a great result.
Pacer tasked with a 57.5 here. Hope Mu didn't overdo her bday celebration yesterday in Rome. If not hungover, we may have a new world lead out of this field.

That was fun to watch. Dominated. She definitely has 1:54 in her this summer.
I almost missed that because of a magpie attacking a pigeon and going psycho. What a good race... can't believe how easy that looked for her. I wonder what kind of time she'd have run if she had gone absolutely flat out? (Obviously pointless to do that at this point in the season, but just curious.)
Whoever stupidly said she might not be ready this year because she didn't run an indoor season and a throw down a bunch of 50 flats and sub-2s from January - May...
