5000m you have the defending Olympic Bronze Medalist, 12:53/26:33 guy in Fisher, and Kincaid has shown monster speed in championship races and appears fit already. 5000m is a way tougher path to make the team.
Is the 3:41 for Chelimo at altitude a solid performance for him in early May? I guess it raises no red flags, maybe even a positive result? He always looks to me like he’s got no chance until the championship races, and then he medals….
