You can be a Quigley fan and recognize that her interview where she described herself as a two time Olympian who had "practically made the team already" was a pretty ugly moment in her career. I loved her indoor charge in 2018 - winning Millrose and upsetting Houlihan was a great run of moments. But that interview (with Merber I think?) was a big yikes moment for me even before she wound up injured and not even running trials. I couldn't believe she actually said that out loud.
It's possible for both things to be true. The good doesn't cancel out the bad and the bad doesn't cancel out the good.
Quigley has had a running career that is better than 99% of other runners and you are upset over one sentence she said?
