It really isn't. If you live on a neighborhood street, all someone has to do is pinpoint the middle of the gap between where you started and finished your run (if you do a loop) and they then know exactly where you live.
I have my Strava open but while I'm female I'm old and can't imagine why anyone would want to stalk me. Nevertheless, I block any male who follows me that I don't know. (Why do random strangers follow each other on strava? I don't get it.) I leave it public because I like chasing CR / QOMs etc. If I was under 30, I'd probably keep it private.
