My guess is she is using her superior intellect and communications skills to solve some real world problems. Maybe famine, maybe war, maybe homelessness. Someone as obviously gifted as her, both as a thought leader and as an orator should be wasting that brain on running fast.
She's a huge talent but she really needs to get her head on straight and quit disrespecting her fellow competitors - especially the Jamaicans. I would be a fan but I just can't be with the way she is now. I don't mind a little cockiness and confidence being shown by athletes that I like but she's a bit too much. I'm hoping that she does well but I'm not hopeful.
I loved SAFP photobombing Sha'Carri's interview when she was walking off the track with Shericka after they smoked her in Eugene.

you just can't handle a strong black women.
she was about to rule the world until the man had to stop her with some made up bs.
heaven forbid the great use be represented by a vocal black women
Sadly, another example of a self-sabotaging human who doesn't know their inherent worth, made worse by the loss of her mother. She has a booster button and a self-destruct button. I hope she's getting help.
Say what you want about Sha'Carri, but she is the best female short sprinter we've got. She ahs energy and personality; it may clash at times, but isn't this what track fans wanted? A young, loud, performative and, most importantly, internationally relevant athlete?

Nobody wants a loud obnoxious athlete with close to zero intellect. She's an embarrassment to the sport and country.
Track fans need to make up their minds. People chide dudes like Rupp for being so bland and closed off to the media, they buck at Sha'Carri and her brashness and attitude. Figure it out. She's a breath of fresh air from a typically stale and sterile athlete base.
Mike Norman? Secretive. Harris? Brazier? Quiet. Rupp, Centro, even Hocker- radio silence.
Guys like Hunter, Kerley, and even Holloway get shut down for giving anything slightly different than a deadpan post race interview and are eviscerated.

Time for some life in the sport
There's room for all kinds of personalities in the sport and that's exactly what we need.
There are quiet, reclusive football players and there are intellectually incapable and loud and obnoxious ones, too.
There's guys like Brady and Rogers who are just bad people and there are kind and caring ones, too.
There are probably more pro track and field athletes world wide than most other sports (Tennis, soccer?) we need a wide range of personalities to keep it interesting.
When I was growing up people idolized and hated Ali for his brashness and boxing was a very popular sport.
Unfortunately, in S’C R’s world “definitely running” means “What? Where’s Bermuda?” “Commits” to a meet means “I’ve heard of it.” “Pledged” means “I’ll think about it.” “Signed” means “if you come through with my start money and my plane ticket, I’ll probably be there.”
