After you are done with dogs head on down to the golf course
On a recent run, someone actually asked me to hold their pitbull by the collar whilst he tried to get his dogs on a lead. It was barking at me as I was approaching but thankfully she was timid. If I used an air horn I think I would have spooked them.
That's why I personally prefer the peace and quiet of the open road (or trail!). It allows me to focus on my form, get lost in the rhythm of my breath, and maybe even hear that inspirational chipmunk cheering me on.
If they come near you just a swift kick in the mouth will send them scrambling
Some of these responses are quite highhhhhlarious. As if, you 98 pound runners or fat old joggers would do something that would cause conflict with others. Sure old people and little kids but I'd venture to say that you'd get the shiiiite kicked out of you doing some of these manouevers. Either that or do it once, run away and then can never run that route again. LOL tough guys.
How about just be a decent person and know that these trivial inconveniences aren't going to ruin your life? Either that or unload some revenge fantasy rage on the internet, right?
