He refused elbow surgery, insisting instead on taking 6 months off to allow his body to heal itself. It did not, and he eventually got the surgery, which worked
I am still totally in awe of a how a human being who, in a world of people who commit all sorts of heinous acts towards others, a guy who plays a sport we watch and has donated millions of dollars of his own money to multiple causes across the years, is being persecuted by the average f-wit over a choice he made pertaining to his own body. This guy has harmed nobody. There is zero evidence that he "gave his covid" to someone who met their demise - let me point out there is just a great a chance that we have been sick before, spread it someone who spread it to someone who then got complications from it and passed away - let that reality sink in for a second.
This coming from someone who just smiled and got all his vaccine shots - I couldn't less if he is vaccinated or not, it is 100% his choice and his choice alone. If he is willing to pay the price of consequences that he knows exist because of that, again it's his choice.
The real tragedy in all of this is the amount of you idiots than exercise your pathetic self-righteousness concerning yourselves with someone's "vaccine status". I trust when all of this is over you will continue to do so with respect to every other potential virus and associated vaccine.
I was suggested for double knee surgery at age 22, which I deferred to take a break from serious running, just like more recently with the jab. FF to age 65, I am comfortably running 30-40 miles/week, I've never had surgery of any kind, knees are excellent and pain-free, and got omicron with mild symptoms and am now immunized indefinitely.
Betting on natural healing is always the best bet, if you are both patient and willing to do your own research. I can't vouch for someone with the professional pressures of an athlete like him. Also he seems to be vegan or near-vegan, which can seriously compromise healing (I was vegetarian when my knees went to garbage)

This is objectively stupid. There are hundreds of millions, probably billions, of people at high risk for COVID, and they should definitely get the vaccine. Even for young healthy people, the chance of illness or injury from the vaccine (extremely low) is still lower than the (low) risk from COVID. Almost everyone should get it. Betting on natural healing is a bad bet, even if it worked for you.
The only way to "win" natural immunity with covid is by intentionally infecting yourself.
The only way to try natural healing for a knife cut is to get cut with a knife.
The only way to see if natural healing works for a broken leg is lay where you broke it and hope you can live long enough without food and water for the leg to heal itself. If anyone helps you it cannot be natural healing.
If you give yourself covid you feel better while you are ill by buying anti-vaxxer Djoke's Covid Snake Oil (Treatment). When enough anti-vaxxers buy his Snake Oil Djoke will never care about playing tennis again ... he can make a lot more money selling his Oil.

You cherry-picked my post, here is the full statement:
Betting on natural healing is always the best bet, if you are both patient and willing to do your own research (bolded for emphasis)
Agree that most people are NOT patient nor willing to do their own research. They should at least strongly consider the "vaccines" (experimental mRNA tech) and discuss with their doctor.
Everyone I know who has done similar to myself (fisky being another poster who succeeded) has emerged healthier and stronger as a result.
Most people are too lazy, "objectively stupid" and artificial to create the health defenses that humans have had for millions of years. Just look at Africa's stats for a reality check.
It took 65 years to find perfect health, I am not going to toss the dice with what is clearly a rushed and at best ineffective, at worst, lethal, product of corrupt corporate drug labs.

Being patient and doing your own research has absolutely zero to do with vaccine effectiveness. And Africa is a young and skinny continent.

And in Africa, villages are spread out and traveling around is limited. Some people never travel more than a few km from their village. They have natural self-isolation.

Thank you for your "Lion King" assessment of a continent you clearly have never been to.

The first statement is utterly non-sequitur. Your second statement is exactly why we should not be injecting the young and the metabolically healthy (I am the latter). So there is at least a sliver of hope for your comprehension on that aspect.
