No more of these fat white boy slobs like Andy Reid, Rex Ryan, Belichick and Madden getting their privileged positions handed to them at the expense of POCs. The systemic racism will hopefully end here.
'White boy' is a racist slur.
Charles Bukakke sides with Stephen Ross. Big surprise!

Flores is mad because the interview was basically a sham. I'm sure it was. , that's what happens when the NFL forces teams to interview TWO minority candidates.
He was referring to 2019 when they hired Joe Judge. He was a special teams/WR coach who was hired over qualified Black OCs . So try again
I posted the following after Flores was fired and people complained.
Brian Flores (3 seasons): 24-25 record, no playoff appearances
Adam Gase (3 seasons): 23-25 record, one playoff appearance
Joe Philbin (3 seasons): 23-25, no playoff appearances. Philbin started his 4th season 1-3 and was promptly fired.
Tony Sparano (3 seasons): 25-23, one division championship (team's only title since 2000). Started 4th season 4-9 and was fired.
Dave Wannstedt (3 seasons): 31-17, two playoff appearances including a division championship. Went 9-7 and 10-6 in 4th and 5th seasons, started 6th season 1-8 and was fired. Had a 50-30 record for five seasons and 51-38 overall.
The Dolphins have made a lot of trades in recent years to get top draft picks with the expectation of success (2020 - three #1s, two #2s; 2021 - two #1s, two #2s).
At the time I was undecided about whether it was the best decision to fire him but I was OK with it since it fit the Dolphin's pattern. I figured he would pick up another coordinator job and eventually get another head coaching job. Now I am ELATED that he was fired. He is simply a racist piece of trash who should never coach in the NFL again. I've been a Dolphin fan since before they lost to the Redskins in the Super Bowl in 1982. For over forty years I've been a fan and have seen many head coaches get fired, many of them more successful than Flores. He had three years and never made the playoffs despite having all kinds of top draft picks. Bottom line, HE FAILED AS A HEAD COACH. He gets fired like about 20% of NFL coaches do every year, and then he accuses the team of racism. Nobody with two brain cells in their head will ever give him another interview, and they shouldn't. Goodbye and good riddance.

What i do actually believe from Flores is that the team owner wanted to lose on purpose to get better draft picks. Missing the playoffs but drafting 15th is a zero sum game. Maybe this is why he got fired.
The Dolphins owner should be kicked out the league….forced to sell the team. Offering the coach $100,000 to lose is highly unethical ESPECIALLY since he is involved in the gambling business.

Since when do you only get 1 year to win?

If you are a white head coach of the Dolphins you may only get one year. See Cam Cameron.

If he's referring to 2019, then the comment is out of place with everything else being discussed in the thread.
The more data points the more you can fill a narrative. There was a rush of interviews for black HC candidates , but jobs are going to white guys. Almost seems like they got the minority candidates out of the way, to comply with requirements.

So what do you have to say about the Giants hiring a average White special teams coach as their HC over several Black candidates that were FAR more qualified? Do you think that a Black position coach can get hired as HC in the NFL? Hell no!! Perfect example of White privilege.

No, it isn't. Quite being such a Karen. Look at reality.
Imagine if all the white coaches who applied and didn't get the job blamed it on skin color every time...
Grow the hell up.

In his first season, the owner was literally trying to pay him to lose. The next two seasons, he was stuck with an elderly Fitzpatrick and a first round bust the owner selected at quarterback. (Flores apparently wanted Justin Herbert.) How do you expect a coach to succeed under those circumstances? It is miraculous they've done as well as they have.
This confirms what people have always known about Elway - he's a white racist drunk.

This is exactly the effect of the “Rooney Rule”. Now minority coaches are a commodity who can be used to check off a box.
Progress!

This is an absolute bombshell of an allegation. NFL has a huge issue on its hands. All that grandstanding and BS about the integrity of the game for a deflated ball…and now you have an actual integrity of the game issue. League came down hard on the Saints for bountygate. Let the WFT slide without a written report. It’ll be entertaining to see them deal with this issue (or not deal with it via an internal investigation).

who is to say they were more qualified? do you know how many great coaches have a background in special teams coaching?
more coaching hires are flops than not. that includes black and white hires. just because judge wasn't good doesn't mean there wasn't reason to think he was the right guy

Yeah if this is true and they can prove it, it's a huge story and they have to kick out the owner. They get a bonus that that story will be bigger and overshadow the Flores racism allegation issue.
I thought it was premature to fire him because Tua is garbage and it's not Flores' fault he sucks.
