He was always a big talent. Before the usa
Teare tried to pull a Chelimo on Hocker and it back fired. He thought it was a 2 man race. For a time it looked like Beamish was cooked. Great win, but still a good result for the other two. After xc, I was worried about Teare. I’m sure Hocker will be a lost faster in his close this summer. Maybe OAC is putting too much emphasis on the early season results?

Teare is a 1,500/3,000 guy all the way, and was still 4th in the 5,000 at the Olympic Trials. 10K is way too long for him.
Geordie Beamish seems one of the nicest people in track
When he made his move, Beamish looked like a guy racing with the newfound joy of finally training for a long block without injury, as Ritz alluded to on the coach’s tour podcast. Really beautiful stride too; and since Ritz was my favorite pro - I can’t help but root for the OAC.

Dude looks like he's from the Walker branch of NZ running. Defnitely a throwback.

Ran a hell of a 16th lap too.
Ha, yeah. Probably decelerated to a 8:10 2 mile
Remember when Beamish beat Engels in the second heat of some mile race? Dude is fun as hell to watch.
Hunter hater here….. but no hate to be offered. Pretty decent result in January.

Just like last year when Hoare ran 3:32 indoors then ran a PB in September to get 4th in the Diamond League final.

Yep, tactical blunder there by Teare.
I agree. It truly does not matter what race you're in, from the 4x200 to the 5k, there is no reason to ever give someone the inside. Stick to the rail and Beamish gets 2nd or 3rd in that race.
Wow ... that was terrible, "here please take 1st place"

True, however he lost the Olympic trials to some 12:58-13:02 guys who are at their career peak or close.

I’m not bashing in them and hoping they continue to shine. Clearly a great team with great results so far. I’m interested in the cycle of an elite team like this. Such a long year, with world indoors and outdoors this year, and all the rest. I’m so impressed that Monson and Hoare are in great form now. Will there be a downtime between now and Sept? It’s such a grind.

Centro literally got beat by Hunter like 2 months ago lmao
"literally"? Wassn´t it enough that he got beat - he had to get beaten literally too.
Also Worlds looks like its a month earlier than usual this year (July vs August), so Id guess more guys will be a little sharper earlier than usual.
Sometimes it seems like Cooper Teare is not that good BUT…
