Loaded the miles up so I can get a day off. Not that the mileage is high, but getting away from 7 days a week can be a treat.

No Xmas plans so a long run, probably 16-20ish miles depending on how it feels early in the day.
In the AM, I'll start with maybe 1+ hour of Ben Patrick's ATG leg work. Then a 2 mile jog to a convenience store, put on flats for a 5K tempo loop, then jog the 2 miles home from the store. Back home work on flexibility 30 mins or so. After dinner, I'll walk some with my wife, check out the Xmas lights. Usually will wear 20 lb weight vest under my coat. I'm well into my 60s, so no family obligations to worry about other than my wife, who likes keeping busy with her homesteading while I'm doing my thing.
Easy 7-8 with some old teammates back from college in the snow, maybe some strides after.
Hill Workout on the treadmill sometime in the late afternoon.
run
Just finished 8 miles. Ready to go.
Can't run, but will get at least two walks in, visiting a couple food exchanges where I donate stuff (and occasionally pick something up!). That loop is ~4km, but I will probably add distance as I pop in to a few drugstores to see whether they've started steeply discounting their Christmas goodies--if they have, I'll get a few pounds' worth to donate on future trips to the exchanges.

Though, one year my team had a viscous workout on X-Mas.
Sounds sticky!
Ran 90 min long run this morning.
I just finished an easy 4 mile progressive run that started at mid-9 pace and finished at high-7 pace to burn more of that Christmas Eve alcohol out of my system. Now I'll help my wife with her baking, and then it's off to see our children and grandchildren for the afternoon and maybe test my alcohol metabolizing enzyme levels again.
12.25 miles for 12/25
Presents are opened and the kids are watching Home Alone. Going for an easy 6 miles in about 30 minutes.
70 degrees and sunny right now.
4x200m hill sprints with 3:30 jog recovery.
The usual Saturday afternoon 6 miler around Stockbridge Bowl, but special because it’s with the daughter home from college. If she doesn’t try to crush me and if the aging legs are feeling good, I may stretch it out a bit. 35 degrees, freezing rain at the moment. Hoping things improve by PM. Wife can’t deal with the weather so she’ll be on the treadmill. Then takeout Chinese and a Netflix movie per traditions of our NYC Jewish upbringing. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate, and a happy and (especially) healthy New Year.
Did an easy 6 miles with my wife, two teenage girls and our dog. It’s our Christmas tradition. Had to skip last year recovering from Haglunds surgery so really enjoyed this year. Very thankful to have entire family that enjoys running.
11 miles at 6:45 pace with my two sons.
6x1000m on the track with 800m steady recovery. Going to local Chinese tonight
I'm 65-years-old, married, but no family close by, so not a big day for us.
Still recovering. Did a simple workout. 200s and 400s to try and get some speed back in these old legs. 14 total . Was also hungover. That never helps.
