12s faster at second split (Max Sannes).
That’s some fast running
He could go sub 14:45

He died in last mile. Final time 15:00 for the win
Not sure where you’re from, but 63 with no humidity is absolutely perfect in my book. And I also believe Clovis was ~75 this year. So that’ll be a lot cooler.
NP spent a month in Big Bear back in August and Brosnan claimed that their toughest training would come in September & October. It would appear they trained hard straight through the Clovis meet and are peaking now. Combine that with cooler temps and this being their best chance to make a statement with no NXN and it could go ridiculously fast today.
Colin- 14:21
Lex- 14:25
Leo- 14:26
Aaron- 14:33
Daniel- 14:52
Dev-14:57
Hector- 15:02

Don't forget the national championship race they will be running in Huntsville.
Sure, but Brosnan wants to set the team time record, team score, and have atleast one beat Fernandez record. They are all geared for this. RunningLane will be nice but that is not the long term National venue. Has less nostalgia.

Yeah, Brosnan said the focus / peak was for the state meet.
16:46 for Nordenholz, 16:56 for Williams.
If I said it once, I'll say it again, German Fernandez's effort that day was simply stunning!!! Everyone knows who was there and watched it. He did it completely solo, which counts for a whole lot. The 'Wolfpack' that is Newberry Park is something totally unique and if German had been a part of something similar, his time would have been even faster there. Kipchoge is 'The Goat' but without the [Support Wolf-Pack] to carry him along, he wouldn't have been quite as fast and everyone knows it as well. So in that sense, I think one of those NP Mega-Dudes can break the record but it won't be from a solo performance. German essentially trained by himself that whole year . Why he didn't then win FL and then eventually make it to the Olympics is a grotesque athletic paradox and coaching tragedy .

Yeah, but they could have multiple guys under 14 at Runninglane.
NP girls ran worse today than at Clovis. Wonder what that means for their boys.

Wow! Never even heard of Nordenholz. That’s a top-10 time, right?

Top 10 for sure. Nordenholz was 2nd at Arcadia in 10:05. She turned the tables on Williams for the best performance of the day so far.
So those Cali boys are wicked fast but nobody gives a shat to set up more than one camera?? Sad.

Nice. According to this link, it’s the 5th fastest time, faster than a lot of Footlocker champions. Doesn’t look like even Jordan Hasay did sub-17:00.

Thanks for the link. I wonder where Williams' time ranks on the all-time soph list. I know Lane has the record.

2nd all time for a sophomore, behind Lane (replaces former #2 all-time fiona o'keefe -16:59)
2:09 at 800m for the leaders in D1 Boys. Could be a little too hot to hold onto
NP top 4 at 4:32, then their 5 and 6 back at 4:37
Most high schools don't have a 4:37 1600 runner, let alone a 6th man splitting that in a cross country race. Unreal,
