3:00 and some change.
LMAO!!!
Here we go again with the LRC geniuses that think a Youtube vlogger is beneath their superiority in life, blogging and running ability. They all claim his vlog is not worthy of their time yet they know all the latest. Every detail of the guys life. How do they know this?
Well they all say.... I thought I would just watch a video to see. yada yada yada...
Truth is. Every one of the vlog bashers is depositing $$ into the guys account. Yet the Vlog bashers can't help themselves. They must watch then rush over to post here to build themselves up by cutting down.
Good morning to Seth's mom!
I love a good youtube running vlog. His NY ones were not good as they didnt tell a story. It was all montages avoiding saying what the time was, which is what most people actually want to know, and it was teased to boost watchtime but was too much.
Will he even be able to go? He isn’t vaccinated

He's gonna be excluded from a lot of big races going forward. A new low for this guy.
did you all consider SJD played his viewers and LetsRun by saying he is considering Boston? You must be fully vaccinated to run next year and Seth is not. So he acted like he was considering it then opted to not make it happen this year. Plus if you look at his comments SJD clearly has a more engaged EU following so it makes sense for him to go abroad where his ego will be stroked more.

For real? I suppose there would have been a vlog or two if he got the jab.

And your 2:23 marathon is when?
Lol. Such a low IQ argument.
Ya terrible argument, but I'll pick it up for you. I've run faster than 2:23 three times in the past couple years including at the olympic trials. Anyway, there is plenty of competition in the United States for marathoning. Very few people should even be looking to leave the US to find more competition. This spring you've got the LA marathon, they had like 5 guys 2:10 or faster in 2020 the last time they ran it. You'll have Grandma's marathon in June and I assume their prize money will pick back up a bit, winner is typically around 2:10-2:13 with several sub 2:20 guys. Pittsburgh typically has some 2:10-2:15 runners on a challenging course and multiple other sub 2:20 guys. I'm not sure if Boston is happening in the spring but obviously that one will be competitive. He could hurry up and run Houston in January, typically win in around 2:10 with a bunch of sub 2:20 guys. I'm sure there are at least a couple others who always have a sub 2:20 every year. Seth Demoor, whoever he is, is not someone who needs to go to Europe 'to find competition'. If his argument was to go to Europe to find a flat course for a good opportunity to get a really fast time, that's one thing since it seems fewer US courses are super fast. But competition shouldn't be the argument.
Better to go to Europe for content
What do you get for running a 2:10 marathon? A 6 figure cheque? A supermodel girlfriend?
It's all pointless.
You should have been a football player instead or taken up baseball.
Demoor is having the last laugh as he is getting wealthier by the minute.

This has been brought up 1 billion times. Like his haters are giving him thousands of dollars.
1. His subscriber count is not that big.
2. His sponsors don't pay him that much because his audience is not that big.
3. Youtube algorithm is not especially nice to people with "only" 37k views/day.
4. Google takes 45% of your ad revenue on youtube.
5. Incredibly high chance that he and/or his wife are trust fundies. (Expensive house, private school kids, wife doesn't work)

He already said him and True Love have family money.
Not really. The OP is questioning his ability and that he ran a 3:00 marathon, which he did but he's also run sub 2:25 multiple times.
If you run at all, you know stuff can happens. Seems like he had a GI issue at NYC, which therefore, doesn't really show his current fitness.

Nobody said the haters are paying him thousands of dollars. But all the people that claim they are faster, smarter and wiser on what he should be doing on his VLog and his family life are indeed paying him each and every time they rush over to watch his videos then rush back to share their critique. They are so into this guys life that they are even speculating how his family finances are handled and where the money is coming from.
It is amusing as hell.

He already said him and True Love have family money.
So on top of all that, it's also impossible to relate to him on a personal level for 99% of normal people out there. Just watching some rich dude running and dropping stupid catch phrases.

Yeah that's why I honestly have only ever watched one videos and it was linked from Letsrun. It was a half-marathon in Florida.
I'm in my 20s, I have no interest in some guy who runs 13-50 mile races at a sub elite level and reviews shoes and eats ice cream with his kids(?) or whatever he does most days.
Seems to me his youtube channel is him doing a victory lap: "Hey I married into money and can do whatever I want, so I never grew up and perpetually act like an obnoxious teenager. This is me training full-time like a pro runner. Watch this, minions".

He documents everything in his life and people on LetsRun criticize parts of it. Don't overestimate his influence like that.
TrueLove didn't like the idea to travel with the kids to Boston, they need at least 2 nannies to take care of the boys, at the end is less expensive to travel to europe
That makes zero sense. To solve the problem of traveling with the whole family to Boston......go to Europe instead? Not seeing the logic here at all.
