I guess when you are a pro you have all the time in the world for a workout and unlimited supplies of supershoes to train in but I found it baffling that pros I've seen on youtube run their long runs this way, with multiple stops and multiple shoe changes.
You can ask the reigning Olympic Champion at 1500 why he use supershoes in all workouts…everyone who can does. Why? Makes you able to train more, faster and harder with less load and reduces injury risk.
About changing shoes on a long run; that sounds more like a workout they call long run?
