you're a bum. why don't you get some b1tches?
Sean Carlson of ND will be interviewed on ACC network coming right up now.
1. ND
2. Wake
3. Syracuse
4. Duke
5. FSU
6. UNC
NC State battered by injuries, only Flavin’s looked good. UVA awful this year (lost to Penn two weeks ago). VT only has Lopez Segura. UNC led by Wolfe, Anderson is a wild card. FSU Wildschutt-Muhumed duo not as useful in a small race. Duke has a good pack. ‘Cuse is on if Dragon and Trojan are. Wake will have some previously absent members back in the mix today, though still have a couple key guys out. ND unbeatable, will potentially have 5 in the top 10.
I think this is a little bit too low with UNC. UNC has beat Wake this season pretty handily, Duke, and FSU (not sure about Syracuse). I bet they get second or 3rd, Notre Dame is too good when they have fully healthy runners, but we don't know who is and who isn't.
Just because Wake has more people back doesn't mean they'll be good, I bet they get 3rd (or at least, I hope they do.)
I thought NC State had all the runners? What's going on?
Where can I watch this besides ESPN… it says the event didn’t start yet but race went off at 10
Great result by the NC State women. I was hoping that Tuohy got the individual win but she still ran well. Strong work by Chmiel. Sam Bush is developing nicely also. I’ve got to ask though - what is up with Clairmonte? Shaw also?
Interesting that NC women were almost exclusively FR eligibility.
Why was anyone even questioning how this was going to go?

Clairemonte and Shaw seem to be hit and miss for whatever reason. Hays and Bush ran real well though. That is the good thing with the depth they have. Also, Lauren Ryan of Fl St who just finished 3rd at pre Nats was 40 seconds back in 11th for some reason. Chmiel, Tuohy, Vestri at the top takes one back to NXN NY 2016. The race seemed to go out slower than I would have thought, but noone could accelerate with NC State except Vestri. Chmiel has had a very strong finish 2 races in a row.
What's up with ND men with the face paint?
Josh Methner, ND, Fr, 10th place
Well, Methner WAS All-American last year. He's a Covid Frosh. And Footlocker Champ (Anyone remember Footlocker???) Good run by the Irish. First race for both Methner and Nguse. Renfree came around, also. Hope they can continue to improve to Nationals. Go irish.
Tuohy and Chmiel are killing it. I don't think people appreciate how amazing it is but they've dominated their age group for 7 years. Chmiel look so strong she's definitely got to be a title Contender for this year and the next 2... good motivation for Katelyn Tuohy to try to catch her

Too bad Lawson didn't follow Milt to UNC or this race might've been a carbon copy of that one. Milt probably would've kept her healthy better than Santos too.

Renfree is coming around but he is not yet where he was in March (22nd at Nationals). He's got three weeks, so we should see some more improvement. Was he injured or simply on Coach Carlson's "just in time" training schedule?

UNC is a toxic wasteland. Don’t know why any runner would go there. I see both teams frequently at American Tobacco Trail. UNC athletes seem to hate each other and don’t even talk. Cliques of 3-4 runners. NC State is completely different culture. I wouldn’t send my daughter anywhere else.
Really? Why would that be? Why would they hate each other? But I do agree n c State seems like a great program. It's always funny that people occasionally ask why Katelyn Tuohy went there, as if it's not a big time program that has awesome facilities and I'm sure the athletes get taken care of really well.
