Here’s a thought…if you are American fatty, stop eating so much, put your phone down, go outside and start jogging. I guarantee you will lose weight.
No one is forcing you to eat their junk food. Self control is gone and victim hood is accepted.
I do believe however that many obese have a serious addiction to food. That’s why 25% of people who have gastric bypass begin abusing alcohol. The problem is fatsos have no self awareness of their food intake because everyone else fat and overeating too.
Weaponized (refined carbs + seed oils) junk food is every bit as addictive as drugs or alcohol. I know many ex-smokers or alcoholics who are helpless in the sway of junk food.
It is comparable to introducing our children at age one (or even younger with "juices" or formula) to drugs and alcohol and wondering why they are so screwed up.
Yet people blame " lack of willpower" or "weakness" for not beating an addiction started almost at or even before birth (epigenetics) for an insidious poisonous diet that almost everyone around them is scarfing as well as relentless advertising and promotion, even as "healthy" snack bars and beverages.
