But you don't even know what Deca is. So why are you pretending to be an expert on Nandrolone metabolism?

That being said, I've been trying to find out who wrote it as I have a few questions. If the person really wants to help Shelby, they need to go public. Hell, just email me anonymously. I can keep things off the record.

doubling down on the moranity. can the brojos together put down an iq better than 100?
Houlihan is NOT a victim. The real victims are the people she stole USA Championships from, stole American records from, and took World Championship qualifying spots from.
Houlihan had 2-3x the legal amount of a performance enhancing drug in her system. End of story. The burrito excuse is such a BS lie that it's INSULTING.

CAS proved she had a non-naturally-occurring substance in her system, and then proved it couldn't have gotten there in the only legitimate way Shelby could think of. What more could they have done?
Again, another non-reader.

Get a life.
WOW!
I read most of it.
some absolutely amazing info in there.
Read it if you have the time
Study it if you have the brain
Repeat it if you have the understanding
I have some of the above so to repeat a few things:
1) the system is not fair (athletes must prove their innocence - and that takes $$$$$. No $$$$ and you will lose regardless of guilt or innocence.
2) "what is equally important is that small research projects such as these can tell us very little about the limits of what can happen in the real world". they are basing their finding on studies of as little as 1-3 people" . they have no idea what the ave level of some of these drugs is...
3) Shelby Houlihan is likely innocent. If you start all over with no opinion for or against, and actually read the article - it is very difficult to believe she doped in the manner they claim (taking it orally = which offers no proven benefit).
and finally
4) the person who wrote this analysis should be elevated to the highest level possible regarding anti-doing as they clearly have a better grasp on this and fairmindedness of anyone. and has no vested interest.
Shelby needs to be the Tyler Hamilton of Nike distance runners. Come clean. Spill the beans. Give the world the inside scoop on how the doping program works.
Side note: By far the best line in the report:
“It is rather difficult for an uncastrated pig to ‘slip through’ the multiple checkpoints. In principle, boars can be easily detected because of their big testicles.”

Of course the athletes have to prove their innocence AFTER they test POSTIVE for 2-3 TIMES the legal amount of the performance enhancing drug. That's just common F***ing sense.
Even NCAA athletes (non-professionals) are told they are responsible for what goes in their body when it comes to drug testing. If you don't want to play both those rules, go do crossfit or WWE where there is no drug testing.

Another thread that shows Letsrun will give currency to every stupid alternative theory going. "Shelby is innocent" is up there with "voter fraud" and "Covid is just the flu" - and is just as vacuous. Like those who believe it.
This is the opposite of the truth. "Shelby is guilty" is a moronic take only held morons.

LOL.
"morons":
ARBITRAL AWARD delivered by the COURT OF ARBITRATION FOR SPORT sitting in the following composition:
President: Prof Jens Evald, Law Professor in Aarhus, Denmark
Arbitrators: Prof Dr Ulrich Haas, Law Professor in Zurich, Switzerland
Ms Janie Soublière, Attorney-at-law in Montréal, Canada
"the ADRV must be deemed to be intentional"
Other "morons" include World Athletics, AIU, and the various scientists of the Wada lab involved.

Thanks for saying this. What most of Shelby's defenders are failing to grasp is that CAS has proven conclusively that she ingested an illegal substance. Whether she did it accidentally or intentionally is not CAS's responsibility to prove. The burden to prove accidental ingestion falls on the athlete and her team and they failed to do that. It's very likely she ingested while taking another supplement but that's not the defense they submitted to CAS. They claimed it was a beef burrito and CAS rebutted with solid evidence that defense was highly improbable if not impossible. The bottom line of any defense process is not innocence or guilt but to prove beyond reasonable doubt. Her team did not do that.
AND her excuses were lame and unbelievable as the CAS report discussed. Amazing how many naive defenders there are out there
I think it's exclusively Houlihan family, lawyers, or BTC friends posting anonymously in support of her. To everyone else she is obviously guilty.

Correct.

To anyone with any ability to reason and come to sensical conclusions, she's innocent

Testing positive is the liability, she failed to come up with any reasonable story to defend that.
The boar meat hypothesis is far far far less likely than the doping/contamination of grey area supplement hypothesis. Keep it simple.

No, it is not. At least not one that is legal.

Literally 30 seconds of Googling based on one unique phrase in the article suggests this. If I had more time, I'd dig further. Hard to hide online these days.
https://ph.au.dk/en/research/research-units/sport-and-body-culture/research-unit-for-sport-and-body-culture/international-network-of-doping-research/members/verner-moeller/Could be quite wrong, but you could just ask.
If Houlihan and BTC are innocent, they would have used their public platform to post conclusive evidence. She's a convicted doper and will be called a doper for life. If she was really innocent, what does she have to lose for putting everything out there now?
This Houlihan saga on LRC is basically a reincarnation of the vaccine debate. In Jan 2020, you had half the class of 50 not knowing how to do a hypothesis test of means on a sample of heights after being taught for a third of the semester. By Jan 2021, seemingly the whole world on social media are experts on biostatistics, clinical trials, virology, etc. Not only are they experts, they are now apparently doing their own independent research going through scientific literature. Its truly a marvelous evolution
T&F fans have to decide whether they want a clean sport. If CAS and AIU were to have the burden of not only detecting the presence of a banned substance, but also proving that it was deliberately and knowingly taken by the athlete, there will be zero drug bans. Not athlete will admit to doping, no suppliers will confess to supplying. Thus CAS/AIU will never have proof. Every athlete can just claim innocent consumption in a supplement/drink/burrito that someone handed to them. The athlete will have no real responsibility and no consequences.
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
