Pretty sweet for the high school kids he'll coaching.
I thought his career trajectory was towards getting a college head coaching job somewhere, but now Webb seems to be transitioning out of coaching and towards priesthood or some type or religious path?
Will this have any impact on the truck repair business?
Transitioning to priesthood was my impression too. One on of Alan's Instagram posts (or interview?) he mentions a goal of achieving sainthood. I don't know how the Catholic church decides to grant sainthood but becoming a priest might help.

St. Alan, patron saint of the poorly-timed finishing kick.
Alan can’t become a priest as he’s married
He just wishes to live a life as close to the saints as possible, he may not become a saint, it’s a tall order to. But trying to live in that model is an admirable and respectable way to live.

and how is he doing this? On July 4 he made a post victimizing himself bc of mask and quarantine protocols due to COVID. how is that living like a saint?
Probably though the things you don’t see, charitable acts, the daily interactions with others, what he does in his community and around his family
Easy to knock it on an anonymous message board, but I hope he’s improving the lives and community around him, even if you’re not religious it’s the least anyone can hope for.

I don't see any proof of this. All I see is fire and brimstone. Hard pass
