Usually when you start a thread title with "you heard it here first," it means that you actually know what the news is and you are sharing it. We didn't hear it here first because we still don't know what "it" is.
Well we said what we heard on the podcast. We said we heard she had tested positive and was fighting it with the contanimated foor like Ajee Wilson. We asked her agent Stephen Haas about it a week or two ago and he said he had heard nothing about it.
It seems like there are three options.
1) It's not about this (she could be injured).
2) It's about this and Haas lied to us.
3) It's about this and Haas didn't know as Houlihan kept him in the dark.
The “tainted meat” argument is complete BS. Do you know the likelihood of consuming meat with a banned substance in such a quantity that it registers a positive test? It’s basically impossible. If she tested positive, she was caught. As an athlete, you’re responsible for what you put in your body.
I’m getting to the point where I’m suspicious of every Nike athlete. I will be pulling strongly for all non-Nike runners (Lyles, Hoppel, Nuguse, Simpson, Purrier, Coburn, to name a few) at these Trials.
