Skin in the Game by Nassim Talib.
The Art and Science of Low Carb Performance by Volek and Phinney
Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans by Brian Kilmeade. Kilmeade is a masterful writer. This is the story of the Battle of New Orleans
Killing England by Bill O'Reilly. A compelling read about the Revolutionary War. All of O'Reilly's and Kilmeade's books are great, but these are my favorites.
Unbroken. NYT bestseller about an Olympian who becomes a POW and his life after WWII. Great book, but not as interesting to me as the others listed above.
For fiction, I loved the Joe Pickett series by CJ Box. Pickett is a Wyoming game warden who gets involved in murder mysteries in the magnificent settings of elk and snow capped mountains. Start with book one. You should be able to check out the Kindle version for free from the public library.
The Harry Bosch series by Michael Connelly is also worth reading.
I prefer audiobooks and most of these audiobooks or ebooks can be checked out online for free from your library using Libby, the library app.
