I meant to say the treadmill DOES speed up over an hour like BHViking reports and it's perfectly recorded with the Runn and TreadTracker but of course the treadmill says it's stayed constant.
Might be a NordicTrack quirk, who knows?
Indeed throughout long runs I have to dial the speed DOWN gradually but ultimately 0.5 kph on the treadmill to actually keep the belt speed (which is all that matters) constant. E.g. 5 min/k starts out at about 12.1kph on treadmill and finishes at about 11.6kph.
Funny thing - a friend of mine reported the same experience on his RUNN and NordicTrack 2950 (though in his case, he attributed it to the NT, not the RUNN). I have a Horizon 7.8AT and have not noticed any speed creep, though the longest I've gone has been just under 2 hours .
Also, regarding RUNN accuracy - I forgot that when I first got mine I did have some accuracy issues with the speed reported by RUNN jumping up and down. In playing with it I discovered that I had to get the sensor a bit closer to the belt than recommended by NPE. They recommend about a pencilwidth above the belt - mine is closer than that.
Once I lowered it, it was dead on, and has been ever since.
