This is just a knock-the-rust-off jog for KT. But everyone is missing the bigger picture. Tuohy at the XC championships, yeah baby!
I know that's what I said! Just get out there jog around the track, wave to the crowd, selfies, autographs, get in shape for cross country championships! Then Larry the legends said that I was being all cynical
Probably like 10 minutes? Maybe 9:45? But seriously anyone know why they are doing this meet? Don't they have the indoor season still going on? This is a pro meet?
Why run any meet?
she will lead with her trail leg
only doing 3k steeple as required in contract with sponsor Camel

Well I don't know but it looks like the race is supposed to be paced at around 9:00 pace, and she is in with Steelman and Chmiel, so I would hope she is ready to run 9:10-9:15 (at least) otherwise what is the point? Also, no Clairmonte or Starliper shown in mile, 3,000 or 5,000.
Her seed time is listed as 9:15. The majority of the runners in the Women's (non elite) 3,000 show seed times around 10:00 or higher. Tuohy is also listed as a possible runner on a DMR (they list 5 runners)
https://www.jdlfasttrack.com/gprofile.php?do=title&title_id=855&mgroup_id=46093any trans runners in the race?
How long will people start threads about Tuohy? I predict it lasts until the fall.
Will be good to see her running her first college race. I think the idea is to acclimate her slowly into college running, especially after dealing with injury issues.

Why are you so invested in this one runner? There are probably 50 NCAA runners who are better.

I was trying to get it amended to my name, but let's run won't do it. They like bravado! At least that is the prevailing winds.
Anyway the reason we talk about Katelyn Tuohy is many. We've grown up with Tuohy! We know Katelyn Tuohy! She's a dynamic personality! Never convicted of a serious felony! She's never incited riot or stormed the capital! Really, just too many reasons to mention

you interested in checking under their shorts to confirm?
Grew up with her? Are you 18? Hutchins has already broken her XC record and 5k track record as a junior. I would think that you would have moved onto the next great high school runner while Tuohy fades into obscurity which many runners do.
Curious, everyone keeps calling this a college race, but this has nothing to do with the ncaa's right? This is a pro event?
Anyway I was thinking about why they would wait to have Katelyn Tuohy run until now? .....If she really is in pretty good shape..... Well I guess I was just wondering why don't you think that she was entered in any other races, even if she didn't run at full speed and just got a college experience. Like just doing a moderate run for a 5k at like 16:30 or 1645
Is it because she's pretty well-known,? or you think it was just the scheduling of training and the way things worked out naturally?
It counts just like any other race they run. They can qualify for nationals or set school or NCAA records. Why is that so hard to understand?

Something like that! Well hey man I go where the excitement is, sure Jenna Hutchins! But she hasn't run at all this year. What's going on with her? Should have done this race. It's her neck of the woods, probably not too far. I don't know I mean Tuohy has all these nationally televised races under her belt and a lot of Epic stuff. Maybe Hutchins will eventually but, the records were great and all but, I live for the drama! Give me drama!

Really? I had no idea. Anyway, it doesn't count for the team though right? I mean NC State has a team and in terms of the college standings obviously there's no way it counts. I don't know I was just trying to figure out, is NC State going to run in indoor Nationals? Are these Pro races common? Do they have a lot of them throughout the country that NCAA athletes compete in once or twice a season? Honestly despite the really cool sounding track named I don't know anything about this college scene and how it relates to Pro running

So what is her injury status? She is back from the surgery, and training well? Is she doing any additional training modalities that she wasn't doing a couple of years ago?
Yeah man she's back from surgery! Supposedly everything's going really good. Has the new bionic implants. And her knees and ankles are better than ever.
Only difference is I guess you can't swim anymore because that metal stuff is really heavy, be like trying to swim with ,
Oh, i don't know, a bunch of heavy metal. But yeah, only difference is after every training session she says I'll be back, or hasta la vista baby, just little things like that but everything else is the same
