Heather Kampf is listed as running in the currently running 5K heat. I thought she was a 1500 runner. She's been around for a few years. Is Brenda Martinez running tonight?

Allie Schadler of the University of Washington for the win in 15:33.47...primarily a 1500m specialist!
UW teammate Haley Herberg (Oklahoma transfer) was 5th in 15:40.86.
Assuming there's an NCAA championship XC meet, Huskies could be dangerous.
Reed Brown only managed 1800m at 13:45 pace for this heat of the men’s 5k. Requested pace was 13:30, what a nightmare
Alright, Nico is no Derrick/Fernandez/Ritz, etc. Might not even PR.
Centro about to drop all these guys?

Yep, these guys are carwling. But it's not like anyone wanted to push it after he dropped off. SHould we hand this to Centro? He's moving up to top 5.
This slow pace might actually make it interesting as if it was fast, I think Centro wouldn't battle it.
Hocker has great form.
Kasey Knevelbaard with a 53.88 last lap for 4th!
Hocker is the future. Nico also pr’d so good for him

He did PR. Good for him.
I like them all a lot. I was hoping Young would be running sub 13:30 as a frosh like Derrick et al. Still time, I suppose.
Good on Hocker for pushing the pace. Who cares what place you get in this fake meet.... Times or nothing.
Pretty cool to see David Goodman run 13:42. Works at a local running shop/brewery in my town. I don't think he broke 4:30 or 17:00 as a HSer.
Cole led the whole race. Kid is the truth, he can go way faster first 3k was around 8:17. Centro is a coward!
Good race. Was hoping Hocker would have won it.
I have to give kudos to Sara Vaughn at 34 running 15:51 real estate 3 kids. Very respectable

He's coming off an injury so not necessarily that surprising, still hoped for a better time for him though.
Shelby and the Bowerman clan 15:08. Walk in the park

Ah, didn’t realize he got hurt.
