I have had a rather mediocre experience, but was hoping for a winner.
I have been a Peg runner for years, but have lately been less satisfied with the 36 and 37, so I went for the Infinity React Run.
I actually like the shoe, but the back digs into my achilles like a son of a b**** and the outsole was worn out after ~100 miles.
I think they're about 75% of the way to a great shoe.
The achilles thing drives me nuts too. Never had a pair of shoes do that. Makes me hate the entire heel cup design. Just put a normal upper on these shoes and they're a real winner. Hoping for the next iteration. Otherwise these shoes have been largely great.
While I don't think they're as sluggish as others usually comment on. I'd largely agree on their usage. They've been great for an overweight 35 yr old trying to get back into shape with previous ankle injuries. I've been able to run consistently and increase my fitness considerably in these shoes. Whereas the pegs still beat my legs up. Similar feel to the NB 1080's I just got, but more stable and a more neutral stance.
