I will say, the women's 150 was very hard to follow because of the cameras moving and offering different angles. The 300 hurdles was easier because you could gauge off the hurdles.
IS THIS TRACK SHORT
LMAO 18.90
NO WAYYYY

Cram reporting he started at the wrong starting line and ran 185 meters. Who are the track officials screwing this up?
It shows that these virtual races are a joke.
What a freaking joke these "meets" are.
Wtf did that really happen?
Apologies to all well-meaning khaki-clad New Balance-wearing track officials, but we need a new crop of people. Many officials should be put out to pasture.
Yeah and he also ran into a strong headwind. Not that fast.
Lol what were the looks on the other guys’ faces when they were told Lyles went 18.90?
Re: Felix. I absolutely can’t stand her...but she’s fast. This result seems anomalous, especially the wind reading. That lopsided, long stride...it works. 34, ok. With commitment, I would not be surprised if she continued to make the relay, at least, in 2024. In the 1 AND the 4.

Yep, it really happened. Someone better at math than me could probably project what he would've run for 200m with a pretty big headwind.

If this is true, 18.9 for 185m is about 20.4 for 200m. I think.
Just for shiggles... If it was 18.9 for 190m, it would be about a 19.9 for 200m.
Using some simple math it's rather easy to project what Lyles could have run, IF he kept the same pace the whole race (obviously this didn't happen, but it's a close enough projection)
(185/ 18.9) = (200/x)
18.9 * 200 = 3780
3780 / 185 = about 20.43
If you consider that the missing 15 meters from the race came at the end, where Lyles runs quicker than the first 100meters, he probably ran 20.20 - 20.30 (but that's just a guess from a guy who doesn't know sprinting all that (me)... )
Depends on how strong the headwind was, exactly, to know how impressive a performance that is.

Funniest thing ever

How in the F do you screw that up? Shame!

LOL, yup
This quarantine has been fantastic for the post-baby Felix. She was nowhere near world-beating shape last year, but she's starting to look much better and will be ready come olympics.
