Which brothers were given HGH by their father when they were children and adolescents? (when they were not in the testing pool)
Notice how much taller (and taller and then taller) one set of brothers are over their papa.
Same with Rupp.

Sein, Melly, Nordas, and Svela seem to be pacers. Sein has an OK 800m, but none of the others seem capable of pacing to low-4:5x.

Embarrassing. Try harder next time.
Try harder to sort your life out mate. Why are you still eating pizza and watching hub all day in a bedsit at 35?
And what are you doper heads talking about? If this is the only 'race' between them this season and Jakob wins handily and with a fast time, then it will probably be used in the countless threads over the next 20 years as to 'who would have won in 2020?'
As for next year, Jakob will be running inside El G's WRs. Tim will probably be losing motivation already just like Rono did in 80. Hope Tim doesn't hit the bottle.
0/10 for making any contribution to this or any thread ever here, 10/10 for being a consistent doping apologist and boring troll.

I have three brothers and we are all at least 2 1/2 taller than our father and 5 " taller than our mother.
It might be true in the case of Rupp.
Drinking already?

HGH supplementation on children who are in the bottom 3rd bracket of height COULD net results of 1-3 inches, given that their hormones are not producing. This is not guaranteed though.
People forget that this is a two-way street. Perhaps Gjert was malnourished or sleep deprived as a child, and his children are taller as a result of better nutrition. Same for Rupp and his parents. There's simply too many factors to know, and HGH is the least likely explanation.
I'd bet that at least 90% of Norwegian sons are taller than their fathers.
Norway has gone from an average European country to one of the richest in the world in the last four decades or so.
How do you know that their grandparents weren't 6 ft plus? Also Gjert might have shrunk by an inch or so since his youth, it's called getting old.

I don’t think anyone other than you would start a thread like that.

“Jakob could actually be threatening El G’s record next year, at age 18 (as well as running sub 13 5000m”
- Coestradamus, 2018
Notice the 'could'.
Notice the 'will'.
Understand the difference.
And he could have ran 3;28 and well under 13 last season at 18 in the right races.

I'll agree he could have broken 13:00. But not 3:30. He had enough attempts at 3:30 and other athletes managed fine in the same races.
3:29 will come next year

Slightly under 13, maybe. I could see Jakob going just under 13 in that London race off of a faster pace.
3:28, no. Jakob hasn’t even beaten Filip’s NR. He has been in multiple sub-3:30 races, even sub-3:29. He slowed down toward the end of the season and never displayed a kick or won a race that would indicate greater fitness.
The race distance of 2000 is interesting. I think that might be a bit too far for Elijah Manangoi to stay on Timmy's heels. Very much imagine if Timmy has been in shape and in form to come through in 3:52 or so at 1600 and kick it home for an impressive mark at altitude. Think Manangoi falls off and hit the 1600 at 3:56 and perhaps rallies a bit. Jakob I could see coming through in 3:54-55 and having a nice kick to just break the 4:51 AR. Filip I suspect not far behind him. Advantage Ingrebridsten for me as I'm wary of their third runner as well as a stinker by Manangoi at this stage.
Filip Ingebrigtsen is looking forward to a busy evening during this year's Impossible Games at Bislett on June 11. First, he will attack Vebjørn Rodal's Norwegian record at 1000 meters before becoming part of Team Ingebrigtsen against Team Cheruiyot at the Maurie Plant Memorial Race over 2000 meters.
- For me, it's about focusing on one race at a time. First, the 1000-meter, and then I'll see what I can do at the double distance, Filip said during Tuesday's Impossible Games press conference.
Vebjørn Rodal's record is 2:16.78, set in 1996. The same year he won the 800-meter Olympic gold in Atlanta.
- It is a very strong time, and it is not just about running and improve it, he said.
Only once ever has Filip run the distance. In Lausanne in 2016 he clocked 2:16.95.
- It was a tough race, but I hope and think I'm a better runner now, he said.
Two runners will help him in the record attempt. Andreas Roth will be the pacemaker, and Håkon Mushom will run behind Filip to take off the vacuo.
This was tested when Eliud Kipchoge became the first sub two hours-runner at marathon in Vienna last year.
- It becomes a kind of vacuum of lying in the middle. The back one takes the suction while the one left in the middle is in a vacuum, he says.
My 3 sons are all taller than me.
Why isn't George Manangoi the third runner?
Has anyone else mentioned that the women's world skiing cross country GOAT is running a 10000m? That should be interesting. She ran one last year and came close to the Olympic qualifying time.
Imagine if all the Norwegian skiers were distance runners. Then imagine if Norway had the same population as Kenya.
Rojo claiming this team race is unfair. Norway population 5 million. Kenya population 70 million (supposedly genetically advantaged too).

You think we should handicap all races by making the Kenyans run time trials at altitude and then letting the White boys run the actual race at sea level in the stadium?
That seems fair to you?
If you think that White athletes can't compete with the Black Africans unless they are given a handicap then you are the 'ebony fetishist' as you like to call others.
Where did I say that you doper head?
Why are you bringing race into it again?
Calm down and eat a pizza and look at p hub.
You and Rpjo are taking this too seriously. It's about giving athletics fans an opportunity to see some live action, giving the likes of Jakob and Tim some motivation and limelight, and putting some money into AK's koffers.
And when are you going to grow a pair and agree to race me in a Parkrun? Don't take life so seriously mate. When you lose, you'll only be exposed as a complete fraud and be the laughing stock of LetsRum for the next decade. No big deal.

I'm a big Ingebrigtsen fan(hard to not be when you're Norwegian), but this is just embarrassing man. I get why El Keniano and others call you a racist now.
Just because Covid-19 has shut your local brothel, don't take your frustration out on me.
