Florida State Opens up the 2008 Outdoor
Season as the Top Ranked Mens Track Team in Division I NEW ORLEANS After finishing
second by only three points at the indoor national meet in March, the
Florida State Seminole mens track and field team opens up the outdoor
season ranked number one in the USTFCCCA Division I Preseason Outdoor

Holliday. Both sprinters should push FSUs Walter Dix for the
100-meter title come June. LSU received 247.33 points in the rankings. Third-ranked Tennessee follows the
Tigers. The Vols closed out 2007 with a fourth place finish at
the outdoor national meet. Florida and Southern California,
Nos. 4 and 5 respectively, complete the top five in the mens rankings. Georgia starts the next five in the
rankings at No. 6 this week, followed by seventh-ranked UCLA.
Arizona State (No. 8) and Auburn (No. 9) follow the Bruins. The Washington Huskies come in at No.
10 this week to complete the top ten in the mens outdoor preseason
rankings. The 2008 USTFCCCA Division I Rankings
