I tried that on when the New Balance rep came to our store. Really nice shoe, liked it a lot, New Balance has been stepping their game up considerably in the past year to year and a half. Good spikes, good flats, good lightweight stuff, etc. They've always been kind of hobby-jogger stuff in my mind, but it seems like they're really aggressively going after the serious running market.
